We were impressed by the attention to detail, with thoughtful touches like local Bakewell tarts and a bottle of wine. The cleanliness of the cottage was exceptional, and the hostess was friendly and attentive. We also appreciated the reliable WiFi and access to streaming services like Amazon, Netflix, and Disney.

The shower was a bit compact, but it was spotlessly clean like the rest of the cottage. Additionally, the bathroom door and fridge were noisier than desired.

The location of this cottage is absolutely stunning, with beautiful views over the fields. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The hostess was very attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The cottage also had some great facilities, such as a lovely bench outside to enjoy a morning coffee or evening drink. Plus, the extra touches like milk, bread, and wine were a delightful surprise.

The only downside we could think of was that the outside area was shared with the adjacent holiday cottage, so it would be nice to have a separate space for eating out.
